comForte GmbH has closed its fiscal year 2005, again reporting increased revenue over last year with a profit of 6%.
"žWe are exited about the achievements during the last fiscal year," said comForte's co-founder and CEO, Dr. Michael Rossbach. "Again, security requirements as well as legacy renewal and integration initiatives have been a strong driver for our business." To better serve the growing demand on the North American marketplace, comForte Inc., with offices in New Jersey, was founded in July 2005. "The new subsidiary had a head start, as it already closed several substantial deals during the first few months". Michael Rossbach continues, "We are expecting further growth of our business in North America in the near future."
During last year, comForte significantly broadened its security offerings. SecurFTP/SSH, an enterprise class secure file transfer solution based on the SSH protocol has been released end of 2004, and has been immediately implemented by a major customer across all systems to comply with regulatory requirements. Other enhancements include SSL-encryption of Expand networks (SecurCS for Expand), full OSS support in SecurTN and SecurLib providing an easy API for encryption of data at rest. "comForte is extremely well positioned in the encrypted communications market and continues to stay ahead," said Michael Horst, CTO and co-founder of comForte. "We are the provider with the most comprehensive offering, delivering SSL or SSH standards-based encryption to almost any communication protocol."
While the emulator solutions, MR-Win6530 and J6530, continue to contribute to a constant revenue stream, substantial contracts could be closed for CSL and JPath, comForte's integration and legacy renewal tools. With the combination of JPath as a tactical and CSL as a strategic tool for legacy renewal, comForte provides a smooth path for modernizing existing NonStop applications. Driven by customer requests, CSL has been enhanced to provide Pathway integration with the Microsoft .NET framework. "The CSL product line is uniquely positioned in the market," said Michael Rossbach. "It protects our customers' investments into existing Remote Server Call applications, and opens NonStop applications for integration with J2EE or .NET servers, with a performance that other approaches cannot deliver. We will continue to invest into improving access to Pathway."
Based on the recent product suite extensions and on its increased commitment to the American market, comForte is well positioned for further growth in 2006.
