comForte increases revenue by 40% and extends product line

April 14, 2004

After closing the first half year of financial year 2003/2004, comForte reports an increase in revenue by 40% over last year's period. While all products contributed to this result, especially security solutions like SecurFTP and SecurCS were ordered by large enterprises around the world. "This continues the trend we already observed last year", said Dr. Michael Rossbach, CEO of comForte. "Network security is now a "must have" for many organizations and we are strongly positioned to provide them with high quality solutions for HP NonStop servers and other platforms."

Building upon this success, comForte will continue to extend its product line. The security product suite will be enhanced with SSH (Secure Shell) components, allowing secure tunnelling of FTP and other protocols with built-in SSH clients and servers on Unix and other platforms.

To complement the web-enabling as well as security solutions, comForte recently announced an alliance with Skybeam Management Ltd. for CSL (Client Server Link), a robust, open middleware product supporting existing NonStop Client/Server applications and enabling to upgrade them with client access from JAVA, JSP, J2EE, .NET, XML, WAP or ASP - without changing a single line of code in the host environment. comForte will distribute CSL and integrate it with SSL, providing instant and cost-effective network security for applications built on a remote server call infrastructure.
