comForte has released version 6.6 of MR-Win6530, a fully-featured terminal emulation package for NonStop Servers which is used at more than 600 customer sites around the world. The new release of MR-Win6530, which has been demonstrated at the ITUG show in Madrid, supports IP version 6 (IPV6) to enable TN6530 access to the IPV6-enabled Telnet server included with HP's NonStop TCP/IPv6 software.
The MR-Win6530 upgrade, which will be available to all licensed customers without additional costs, is part of comForte's initiative to have its entire product set "ready for IPV6" before the end of 2004.
